Tom and I headed to the Wildbrumby Schnapps Distillery for a yummy lunch today and I came home totally inspired.
Along with producing yummy schnapps the owner Brad Spalding is a fabulous painter. His paintings capture skiers, in bright yellow jackets, in a fun and abstract way. I recommend going for a visit and seeing the distillery and artwork for yourself.

As soon as I got home I grabbed my oils and tried to capture the mountains in my own personal style.

ReplyDeleteJon and I were just talking about Wild Brumby the other day as we settled into a gin and liqueur distillery on Kangaroo Island! They only had coffee though - would have loved a lunch. I love the paintings, as well as yours of course. the cute house in the middle is so Australian isn't it/ Lovely xx
